问题:目前手头有西班牙的老客户，是实力采购类客户，原本确认了订单约 15W美金3个柜子，这个订单从一路报价整理已经花了2个月的时间，客户今年的订单也是已经持续下这个是第三个订单，今日客户来邮件说由于海运费实在太高了 导致只能暂停 或者延后订单想问老师对于关于海运费波动而导致客户延期，暂停订单能怎么再争取一下吗?

That is a not good news when I hear your decision, however, I understand your feeling and present harsituation 200%, because of crazy increasing freight and shortage of containers. It seems like that weboth can not control it at the moment, even, coming months.
The forwarder who cooperated with our company at least 8 years said that the freight will be higher at the rest several months of this year, because the peak shipping season for importers happens during the second half of the year, however, cargo demand far exceeds capacity this year, and the vessel space in Asia is getting even tighter in August.
Concerning above factors, the forwarder gave us some advice:
- Supposed had any oversea orders in the future, try to arrange and book earlier, if available, pay them deposit and keep the right in advance, otherwise, it will be more difficult to book the container evenpaying more. In generally, 2 weeks will be enough if booking containers before, but now, it needs 6-8weeks in advance.
- High freight rates and tight capacity are currently common problems for all importers. Affected bythe epidemic, the pressure of European and American ports cannot be lightened in the short term, leadto the shipping costs would be increased accordingly. That is, as long as have any oversea business, wehave to prepare and plan in advance.
Anyhow, I always try my best to support and help my partner to down such extra cost, so, I discussedwith my boss and held a serious meeting with our whole team today, here are some advice for yourreference from our team: - We kindly advice your second order move forward, and we promised that we’ll keep everything weconfirmed . No matter any changes after the order .
- We will arrange production but for the shipment can wait until you confirmed the delivery Plan.During this period, Kindly note your goods will be stored carefully in our warehouse, without anystorage cost. So you could request the delivery whenever the time is better for you. We ‘re standing byfor you always.
That is, how about confirm the order and pay deposit in advance, then it is better for both us to keepyour all right in hand.
